Volunteering
We truly mean it when we say it takes a village to save at risk dogs, and we don't know where we would be with our amazing village of volunteers! They are the heart and soul of the rescue and we are so thankful for them (and amazed at how much they do, day in and day out).
Among the many volunteering opportunities are:
VOLUNTEER POLICY
Volunteers must be 16 YEARS of age or older. We can no longer accept volunteers under 16 years, even with a parent or guardian present. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause, but due to insurance policies, it must be enforced. In light of this new policy, we will be hosting "Kid's Night" at least once a month to gauge involvement, and we will be planning specific activities our supporters under 16 can assist with.
Please check back on our Facebook page for sign ups for those nights!
ALL volunteers must complete our orientation prior to beginning their volunteer work. We host orientations at our Hatfield location. Check out the events tab for future dates. At orientation, you will be given further information on how to volunteer at events!
Thank you all SO much for your support, and please know we truly appreciate each and every person who gives up their time to help care for our amazing fosters.
If you have ANY questions, please feel free to message us, or email adoptions@dogtown309.com.
