Volunteering
We truly mean it when we say it takes a village to save at risk dogs, and we don't know where we would be with our amazing village of volunteers! They are the heart and soul of the rescue and we are so thankful for them (and amazed at how much they do, day in and day out).
Among the many volunteering opportunities are:
Dog Wrangling
Dog walking, helping with dog care at adotpion center
Social Media
Coordinate platforms, share posts, promote events
Events
Event planning, managing attendees, venue partnerships
Transport
Driving dogs to vet, events, etc. Supply runs
Technology
Web design, automate processes, graphic design
Grooming
Photoshoot prep, event prep, maintenance grooming
Fundraising
Grant writing, donation drives, fundraising campaigns
Photography
Document events, new dog photos, petfinder pics
Adoption Ops
Scheduling meets, reference checks, application follow-up
VOLUNTEER POLICY
Volunteers must be 16 YEARS of age or older. We can no longer accept volunteers under 16 years, even with a parent or guardian present. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause, but due to insurance policies, it must be enforced.
ALL volunteers must complete our orientation prior to beginning their volunteer work. We host orientations at our Hatfield location. Check out the events tab for future dates. At orientation, you will be given further information on how to volunteer at events!
